Get ready, Simple Plan is hitting the road this summer as part of the 2010 Bamboozle Roadshow! Bamboozle is an all day event featuring All Time Low, Boys Like Girls, LMFAO, Third Eye Blind, Good Charlotte, Hanson, Forever The Sickest Kids, Hellogoodbye, Cartel, and many more.
The dates that Simple Plan will be performing are as follows:
June 18: Time Warner Amphitheater at Tower City, Cleveland, OH
June 19: PNC Pavilion at Riverbend Music Center, Cincinnati, OH
June 20: Festival Pier at Penn’s Landing, Philadelphia, PA

Simple Plan is gearing up for their 2009 summer tour, which starts June 18 and runs through August 6 in Canada! They’re up against Danny Fernandez’s “Fantasy;” Kardinal Offishall f. Akon’s “Dangerous;” Marianas Trench’s “Cross My Heart;” and Nickelback’s “Gotta Be Somebody.”

Simple Plan will be hosting auctions on eBay for exclusive signed items. The proceeds will benefit the Teenage Cancer Trust. Items up for auction include a signed Epiphone Les Paul Special II electric guitar, framed artwork from Simple Plan’s self-title third album, a signed set list from Liverpool show, a signed tour poster and discography, and a Simple Plan swag pack consisting of a t-shirt, hoody and signed album. The auction will end at 8:30 pm on Sunday, Dec. 7.

The Simple Plan Foundation, which was founded in 2005, held it’s first fundraising event in Montreal on August 17. The brunch, followed by a private acoustic show, was a huge success according to SimplePlan.com. It was attended by over 600 people, including Montreal and Quebec City’s Mayors.

Simple Plan will be putting on a free performance at the newest Montreal Apple Store located on West Catherine Street on August 18th!
Until the end of August, the Apple store will be hosting a regular concert series titled “ iTunes Live From Montreal.” The shows will be recorded for live EPs, to be made available for sale through iTunes.
Be sure to be amongst the lucky spectators from 6.30 p.m. to 7.30 p.m.!

“The Simple Plan Foundation” began a little over two years ago. It’s main goal was to raise money and give to those in need. Late last month, Simple Plan announced their first donation, which was over $100,000. They also announced their first fundraising event—an acoustic concert, as well as a brunch, this August.

On a side note, Simple Plan, who was voted the People’s Choice Favorite Canadian Band fot the fifth time, has just released a limited edition version of their album, “Simple Plan,” in a vinyl.
